Local Hillbilly to Lead Hillbilly Days Parade
A very special event will happen at this years Hillbilly Days in Pikeville Kentucky. One of our very own cousins from Hillbilly Clan 1 Outhouse 2 in Pikeville, has worked is way out of the hollers and across the ridges and climbed the highest peak to become the Potentate of El Hasa
Shrine Temple in Ashland Kentucky. Y’all may have seen him over the years working in the Outhouse 2 concession trailer outside the gymnasium or helping out wherever or whenever he is needed.
Illustrious Robert Adkins was raised on June 15 th 1991 at the Thomas C. Cecil Lodge #375 in Pikeville and became a Shriner and Hillbilly on April 19 th 2002. He has spent the past 22 years tirelessly working to help improve the lives of so many Shriner Kids.
Congratulations Illustrious from Hillbillies all across Hillbilly Nation. We are all excited to follow you this year as you lead us through the streets of Pikeville in the 47 th Annual Hillbilly Days Parade !
