This years International Hillbilly convention, hosted by Clan #67, in Baltimore, MD, was the site where Hillbilly Nation proudly elected a new International Hillbilly Queen!
Linda Rizzotto, from the Al Malaika Shrine, Clan #69 out of Los Angeles, California, is this years royalty!
My name is Linda Rizzotto from the OIL CAN TRASH CLAN #69 of the Hillbillies Al Malaikah Shrine in Los Angeles, Ca.
I have the honor of being elected as your INTERNATIONAL HILLBILLY QUEEN for 2024-2025.
My husband is Richard Rizzotto of Al Malaikah Shrine.
We are thoroughly enjoying being part of the “Hillbilly Experience.” Hoping to make you proud.
A BIG thank you to Boumi Shrine, and all of the participants, especially Bruce and Louise Mulligan for the hospitality that was shown during the convention. It was a blast and everyone had a fabulous time.
My goal this year is to incorporate many of our Shrine members to become Hillbillies. I am certain that they will participate in my mission for generating funds for our Shriners Children’s Pasadena Medical Center.
We have a very busy year ahead: Planning the 2025 Convention in Los Angeles.
Many ideas for fundraisers are in the works.
Looking forward to attending Hillbilly Days in Pikeville, Kentucky in April 2025.

Generously butter a 13 by 9 casserole dish. Mix the eggs, half and half, maple syrup and brown sugar in a bowl. Place the bread in the casserole dish and cover with the egg mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and let soak overnight in the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the casserole from the fridge.
Make the topping: Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. Add the sugar and maplesyrup and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the pecans. Pour mixture over the bread and bake for 55-60 minutes.
Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
